The Royal Global COHLER clarinet bell is an original collaboration between Royal Global and American clarinetist Jonathan Cohler in 2006.


Originally, each bell was finished by hand in Boston for several years. Now, based on a spectacular master model, the COHLER bell is produced in the Royal Global factory using CNC technology for the highest level of precision and consistency.


This bell has more wood than most traditional bells, and a significantly redesigned inner bore with patented inner extension that gives more resonance to the lower notes and an overall more powerful, colorful sound.

The Royal Global Cohler bell is perfect for those clarinetists who are looking for a bell to produce a warm and dark sound. It is well designed, and well engineered. But be warned...this bell is much larger than most bells for clarinet, and with its heft does add extra weight to the clarinet as a whole. As such, this bell may not be for everyone, and for those who do decide to add it to their equipment, use of a neck strap is highly recommended.
