Every clarinetist needs a screwdriver for regular maintenance and emergency repairs. These screwdrivers are hand turned by Brian in the shop from various woods, some familiar to clarinetists like African blackwood (grenadilla) and cocobolo. For a truly special screwdriver, we source magnificent curly Koa wood directly from the Island of Hawai'i (the "Big Island") and finish them with a special finish to produce a shiny iridescent visual. **MADE TO ORDER**

Keep your instrument in proper adjustment with these mini screwdrivers, complete with a keychain screw-on top that hides all 4 bits in a secret compartment inside the tube. Bits attach magnetically for ease of use. Note that each bit has an identical flat side that fits in the magnetic slot. 2 sizes of flat head, 1 phillips, and 1 scratch awl included.
Please note that there is a large variation in wood grain patterns and colors.
Koa wood can have a wide range of iridescence. Pictures cannot do the curly koa justice as it shimmers when turned in the light. We use only curly koa from the Big Island (Hawai'i), not "plain" koa, but there is a large variation.
Purpleheart wood is often not vibrant purple, and changes colors with long time exposure to light and handling. We use a CA finish to protect the wood from handling.
Cocobolo can range from dark brown to vibrant oranges, reds, and purples.
The nature of these hand-made items makes each one unique, and there is no guarantee which one you will receive!
